This week's industrial action

Branch members will be carrying out the following targeted actions, starting this week:

• Not teaching for up to eight hours in the coming week, striking a lecture at a time


• Not submitting end-of-year exam papers that are normally collated at this time


• Not submitting students' final grades to Registry


• Not implementing Catalyst, the new student services software package


• Withdrawing their co-operation with their academic committees and ignore compliance requests from management


• Working to rule, going slow and refusing any overtime work


• Clogging communication networks of the VC and senior management
