This gives a total so far of over 1500 members in favour of the proposal nationwide (with around 200 against).
General Secretary Helen Kelly writes:[T]he industrial action will be halted. This includes all forms of industrial action.
It is clear from the meetings that members want to know whether this new approach is really the path way through this dispute and that they expect quick progress at both the national level and locally on local arrangements – the unions are committed to progressing this work at the quickest possible speed.
