Meet Kari Bassett, incoming Status of Women Committee Rep.

Dr. Kari Bassett is an academic in the Dept of Geological Sciences and has lived in New Zealand for seven years. She does field research in both New Zealand and Antarctica as well as teaches the core sedimentology part of the Geology degree programme. She has been involved in Women's issues in the past as a representative for Women Science Postgraduates at the University of Minnesota and is eager to continue this role at the University of Canterbury as part of the AUS Status of Women Committee.
