Mobilising around the redundancy threat

A meeting was held yesterday to present the branch's plans for dealing with the proposed redundancies in the Faculty of Arts and elsewhere.

Branch president David Small wrote:

We have worked through a series of ideas presented at the recent members' meeting to consider options, and we have also sought legal advice.

We have a proposal for a way forward that involves legal and industrial opposition.
